To live an uncondensed life is to to believe in trees, grass, the flowers, and the wind. As well as the moon and the sun. To know that this Earth is not just mere coincidence. To know that these words aren’t just a casual effort to explain to you just how astonishing the world really is from my viewpoint. To know that once. Long ago. Money didn’t exist. The color of your skin and the texture of your hair made little difference. That people ran freely together. As people. To know that your body is just the physical. But inside of you lies a august soul.
This morning I was outside looking up at the clouds and blue sky and let out a chuckle. I’m guessing that’s what wonder does to you. Makes you chuckle.

That’s what I believe. I believe the universe wants to be noticed. I think the universe is improbably biased toward consciousness, that it rewards intelligence in part because the universe enjoys its elegance being observed. And who am I, living in the middle of history, to tell the universe that it - or my observation of it - is temporary?
Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.
